Raphael has over 20 years of leadership experience in the oil & gas industry. His extensive international and cross-functional exposure with Schlumberger has brought him to the forefront of strategic transformation, enterprise digitalization and sustainability programs.

He was appointed Managing Director Scandinavia in August 2022, based in Stavanger. In this role, Raphael is responsible for expanding Schlumberger’s position as the partner of choice for driving the high performance and sustainable evolution of the Scandinavian offshore energy system.

Prior to his current role, he held the positions of Marketing & Strategy Director Offshore Atlantic, Managing Director East & Southern Africa, VP Digital Technology & Solutions, Global Workforce Productivity Transformation Manager, and HR Director Egypt & East Med. He joined Schlumberger in the US as Reservoir Engineer in 2001, before heading to South-East Asia where he led the transformation of customer E&P Planning and Integrated Operation programs for 7 years.

Raphael holds M.S. degrees in Chemical Engineering from the National Polytechnic Institute in Toulouse, France and from the University of Houston, USA.
