Alexander Millang is a PhD Research Fellow at Nord University, specialising in digitalisation and Industry 4.0. His research focuses on how technology adoption can enable and accelerate digital transformation in industry. He holds a strong background in economics and management, with master’s degrees from BI Norwegian Business School and Nord University.

His commitment to innovation and entrepreneurship stems from a broad and varied professional career – from serving as Head of Communications at the Norwegian National Collection Agency and leading one of the Norwegian Tax Administration’s most important digitalisation projects, to co-founding and running several companies in digital marketing and e-commerce. Alexander has also served on expert panels, boards and in advisory roles, where he has helped develop and share knowledge and best practice within his field.

As a researcher and innovator, Alexander aims to bridge the gap between theory and practice, and to create value and impact for society and business.

Osberg is a senior adviser at the Norwegian Communications Authority (Nkom), where he works on artificial intelligence, digital regulation and the implementation of the EU AI Act. He has many years of experience at the intersection of law and technology, and previously worked at the Norwegian Digitalisation Agency, where he focused in particular on policy and regulatory development in the field of AI. Osberg has a background as a software developer and has worked on data protection, automated decision-making, machine learning, cloud services and information security. He holds a Master of Laws and, in addition, a bachelor’s degree in programming and system architecture from the University of Oslo.

Angela is the Chief Technology Officer of Norwegian cyber security company Defendable. She has previously helped build advanced detection and response capabilities as the Incident Response Lead at Telenor CERT, and served as a senior intrusion analyst at the Australian Signals Directorate battling nation-state actors.

As a provider of Managed Detection and Response (MDR) services, did Defendable actually see a wave of attacks and incidents materialize? If yes, we examine what changed. If not, we ask, why? Was this just the trailer for the main feature yet to come, or will the blockbuster never arrive?

Stine Bjønnstu Holthe is Director of Corporate Affairs at Bulk Infrastructure (Bulk). Bulk is a long-term Norwegian industrial company that develops and operates digital infrastructure, with a particular focus on the Nordic region.

The company was established in 2006 and is headquartered in Oslo, with operations in several locations in Norway and the rest of the Nordics. Bulk’s N01 Data Center Campus in Vennesla is one of Europe’s largest data center campuses based on renewable energy. The company has played a central role in building up Norway’s fiber capacity and has established strategic connections between the Nordic region and the rest of the world.

Stine is a civil engineer with broad experience in the development of major infrastructure and construction projects as a former advisor and project manager at Multiconsult. She has a particular commitment to how new infrastructure can be developed in a way that combines sustainability, societal benefit, and value creation.
