Helle Øverbye is Executive Vice President at Innovation Norway. She leads the division People and Technology, which is responsible for digital transformation, data intelligence and technology, service and product development, culture, employee engagement, and working life. Øverbye has been with Innovation Norway since 2020.

She holds a Master of Science in Physics from INSA in Toulouse, France, and NTNU in Trondheim. Before joining Innovation Norway, Øverbye spent five years in the media industry, primarily working with technology-driven change—first at Aftenposten, then at group level in Schibsted, and later as Chief People & Communication Officer at NHST (now DN Media Group). She has also worked as a consultant at Accenture and EY, and held various organizational and leadership roles at DNV and at the research center Physics of Geological Processes at the University of Oslo.
