Gillian Leitten

Gillian Leitten is CEO of The Lumen Prize, an international award dedicated to championing artists working at the intersection of art and new technology. With over a decade of experience across auction houses, art logistics, finance, and digital platforms, Gillian is passionate about building operational excellence and delivering complex projects that connect artists with global audiences. Leitten has experience from established art markets and digital ventures, with roles at Christie’s and Sotheby’s, among others.

Under her leadership, the Lumen Prize has strengthened its collaboration with a number of leading institutions and players within art and technology. The Lumen Prize has had a long-standing partnership with Kunstsilo, which resulted in the 2025 award ceremony being moved from London to Kristiansand — more specifically, to Kunstsilo.
