Anders Gaudestad has extensive experience as CEO and other C-level positions as well as chairman and board member in Executive boards for the last 17 years in the renewable power business. In addition, he has solid experience from management consulting and business development. He has for the last 7 years been a part of the executive management team in Å Energi, one of the leading companies in the Norwegian renewable energy sector and is the fourth largest producer of hydroelectric power in Norway. It owns companies in all stages in the value chain – from hydro power production, power grid, energy management and trading, to end-customer sales and corporate venture – and have offices in Norway, Sweden, Germany and Switzerland.

He is now responsible for physical optimization and financial hedging of Å Energis hydro power production (11,3 TWh), origination and trading in the Nordics, Germany and selected parts of Europe.  He is a technology enthusiast and believes that extensive use of technology in cooperation with sustainable good business models can create high value!

Gaudestad graduated with an MBA from Middlebury Institute of International Studies in California and a Master of Science degree in Industrial Economy and Technology Management from Norwegian University of Science and Technology in Norway and wrote his Master of Science thesis in Silicon Valley in the .com age.
